Ninja-Gum is Born is a promotional animation for Ninjala animated by Marza Animation Planet and The Monk Studio. It serves as an introduction to the world of Ninjala and the series' plot and lore, as well as being a prologue to the Ninjala 2D Cartoon Anime. It focuses on Burton, Berecca, and Ron as they continue to work on developing a successful batch Ninja-Gum, a top secret project for the World Ninja Association. It was released on YouTube on March 30, 2020.
Overview[]
In the year 2020, WNA researchers Burton, Berecca, and Ron prepare to run tests to create a working prototype for Ninja-Gum. After Burton accidentally introduces Goro's bell into the formula, the lab machine explodes and a successful batch is created. The crew's excitement is short-lived however, as Ron reveals himself as a double agent and attempts to assassinate Burton. The two engage in a fight where Burton emerges victorious with the aid of the Ninja-Gum.
After the fight, Burton explains that the Ninja-Gum is actually a form of weapons technology to Berecca, to which she scolds him for keeping a secret. The two are interrupted however when they suddenly turn into children as a side-effect of the Ninja-Gum, shocking them both. After getting new clothes, Berecca claims that they must enter Ninjala to return to normal.

- Marza Animation Planet, one of the studios who worked on Episode 0, is well-known for making cinematic cutscenes for various games, most notably the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Marza has also done work on several films including the Sonic the Hedgehog 2020 movie and its 2022 sequel. Additionally, Marza has provided help with animations and 3D models for artwork illustrations and renders for several other games as well, including Mario Kart 8 (and its re-release, Deluxe), The Last Guardian, and the first two games of the Splatoon series.
